Tiger eye and labradorite — two stones that both live in shifting light, but in entirely different ways. Tiger eye moves in warm amber-gold waves; labradorite moves in cool blue-green flash. On one cuff, side by side, they create a dialogue between warm and cool, earth and sky.
Made by hand in Kathmandu on a wide pewter band, the oval stones are set in individual bezels, each one secure and slightly elevated. The combination is striking and completely Himalayan — both stones appear in the region's geological and spiritual heritage.

I like most that the pieces of jewellery available on this site, with this company, are not of the cheaper imitation standard of which can be found elsewhere online and of which are probably sourced in quick buy-to-sell bulk and therefore lack in quality. The difference is in the detailing and design of these pieces; i.e. the stones are considerately placed and the metalwork is carefully and skillfully handcrafted. It is worth paying a few pounds more for more exquisite effect. I have been happy so far to pick up a variety of items; from bracelets to rings and bags and can honestly say they have all been tremendous finds. Bravo Junkiri!
