The sun face — smiling, radiant, the symbol of rebirth and strength in Buddhist iconography. In the Tibetan tradition the sun is one face of the eternal cycle, the counterpart to the moon, the source of the light that warms the valley below the highest peaks in the world.

This golden sun pendant was handmade in Kathmandu in the antique style — the sun face worked with its characteristic rays and expression in golden pewter that looks as if it has been in someone's family for decades. Available in two sizes: small (approx. 2.5 cm) and large (approx. 5 cm).
